How to get a handicap 54 or even a lower handicap?

We offer handicap 54 weekend courses at various locations in Belgium and the Netherlands. The course to get handicap 54, formerly known as ‘Golf Vaardigheids Bewijs’ (GVB), is offered on Saturdays and Sundays over the same weekend. The course starts both days at 10:00 and ends around 16:30. During this course, you will learn all the basic techniques of the golf swing, pitching, chipping, putting, etc., the ‘Rules of Golf’ and even play on the golf course on Sunday. All of this takes place in a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of individual attention. The theory lesson is on Saturday, and the rules exam is on Sunday. But don't worry about the theory, you will be guided step by step, and the exam is absolutely achievable for everyone.

The cost of the full course is €219,00 per person. This includes golf club rental, driving range balls, all practical and theory lessons, the rules exam, and the green fee for playing on the golf course itself.

The total amount includes also a Basic Membership until 31st of December 2025 at FOOOR Golf Club, including the official federation card (golf pass), worth in total €30. There is a lunch break in the golf club restaurant on both days, the lunch and drinks are not included.

The course will proceed with a minimum of 4 registrations. It will also proceed if it rains, unless golf course conditions do not permit or there are unforeseen circumstances (we will call you to reschedule). You can cancel up to 48 hours in advance. We will then contact you to schedule a new weekend.
